The screenshots refer to Google Pixel running Android 11 or later. This information may not be suitable for all devices from the same manufacturer/series. Some screenshots and operations could differ depending on the software version.
Notice: Make sure your Google device is compatible with eSIM and connected to Wi-Fi or cellular service before installing an eSIM. If you want to install eSIM on your current phone, send the QR code to the other device.
After purchasing a Yesim plan, you can install a eSIM profile on your Google device. There are several options for how you can add a Yesim profile to your phone.
If you already have the Yesim app installed, you can open the eSIM installation guide from it. Go to the Help section and choose Yesim Installation.
Option 1 — Adding Yesim via Fast Installation
1. Open the Yesim app and go to the Data plans tab.
2. On your active plan card, tap Install eSIM.
3. On the eSIM installation screen, tap Checkout.
4. When the system prompt Add YESIM eSIM? appears, tap Add.
5. Wait a few moments while the profile downloads (Adding YESIM eSIM…).
Once completed, the status on your plan card will update to eSIM in use with an eSIM installed! confirmation message.
Set up your connection in device settings: turn on the eSIM, select it for Mobile data, and enable Data roaming.
Option 2 — Adding the Yesim by scanning the QR code
1. Go to Settings > Network & internet.
2. Tap the + button next to Mobile network.
3. Tap Download a SIM instead? at the bottom of the screen.
4. Scan the QR code received in your Yesim confirmation email.
5. Wait a few moments while your phone checks network info and downloads the profile.
6. Open your SIM settings, switch Use SIM to ON, and enable both Mobile data and Roaming.
Once our eSIM is correctly installed, you are ready to activate and use Mobile Internet from Yesim!
It may take up to 5–10 minutes for the eSIM to find connectivity after the plan has been activated.
